Albert Frederick Calvert (1872-1946) publicó una serie de libros de viajes sobre España, The Spanish Series, editados por las editoriales The Bodley Head (Londres) y John Lane Company (Nueva York), que contenían un gran número de fotografías.

A. F. Calvert indica en el índice de ilustraciones (p. XVI) que las fotografías fueron realizadas por R. Garzón, R. Señán, Hauser y Menet, E. Wasmuth, E. Twiemeyer y por el mismo autor. El número de ilustraciones de esta obra era 159.

El tomo dedicado a Córdoba está escrito por Albert F. Calvert y Walter M. Gallichan.

A pie de página el título en ingles: The bank of the Gaudalquivir fron the bridge y en un lateral el número de plancha (153).
